Find a Business Mentor and Make a Friend
One of the worst mistakes you can make, in any undertaking, is thinking you can do everything yourself and solve all your own problems. While this is a macho approach, whether you are male or female, it is also just plain stupid. Everyone one needs someone to explore ideas and concepts with, to see if they are any good, and maybe to learn something new. Its great to use your family members as free mentors and coaches, but it is even better to find an independent third party and pay something. You will get more out of it. For most of my life, I was lucky to have a successful mentor and coach, who was also my friend. It was my Dad.
